The founder and host of Positive Vibes Poetry events (launched in 2017) and minister of The Gospel has launched out further into her God-given creativity. After sharing what was supposed to be a spoken-word piece at one of her 2018 poetry events, friends applauded the “bars” and asked about an upcoming mixtape. Although rapping was not something Jazz had on her radar, she did want to begin putting music behind her poetic pieces. It wasn’t until a good friend suggested she start recording her poetry, that Jazz decided to actually give it a try. That same night, her very first musical track, “Snakes,” was written and recorded in her bedroom with her iPhone, in less than an hour. God was undoubtedly at work, and Jazz was fully aware of it. Her first project, The Voice, was ready to be released nine months later. And so it began….
